Hello, and welcome.

I’m Brian, a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and Certified Addiction Technician in Colorado. I focus on treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, career dissatisfaction, and substance use concerns, and I work with individuals aged 18 and older.

While I utilize evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness practices, I also recognize that no two people follow the same path in therapy and am committed to providing a “whole person” approach. This means your treatment will be individualized, not manualized.

I came into this field after spending six years writing ads for award-winning advertising agencies, and my work today is informed by my past experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, highly-competitive environment. For the first five years of my career in mental health, I worked in residential addiction treatment centers helping individuals transform their lives from the inside out. Today, my clients are often busy professionals who deal with the demands of managing multiple life roles and responsibilities.

Meaningful change happens when people feel connected, supported, and informed. I strive to create a therapeutic space that fosters these values. Together, I will work with you to build an open and trusting relationship, set collaborative and realistic goals, and equip you with the tools to move toward the life you want.

Outside of work, you can find me buried in a book, working out, playing golf (badly), or watching my Denver Nuggets. I like being active and I love stories and the creative arts. I am passionate about psychotherapy and I view myself as a lifelong learner.

If you think I’m the type of person you would want to talk to, shoot me an email and I’d be happy to schedule a time to chat!

Looking forward to hearing from you,
